Make a booking using search filters
When you need space for a specific time, the easiest and the most traditional way to see available options is by using search filters. When you enter a specific time in the search, Taitori will only show spaces available for that time. You can easily select a space from the floor plan or grid view.
- Go to the Browse page from the navigation bar.
Image 1. Search filters (closed). - Click to open the search filters (see image 1) and select at least the date, time, and duration of the booking. You can also specify other search criteria, such as location, number of people, or features (see image 2).
Image 2. Search filters (opened). - Once you've chosen the search criteria, click Apply filters.
- Next, choose how you want to view the results. Since you've already selected the time in the search filters, we recommend using the grid (see image 3) or floor plan.
- You can further filter the results with quick selections (e.g., Favorites or Desks). You can use multiple quick selections simultaneously. For example, if you're looking for a workspace, activate the Desks quick selection. If you're looking for favorite desks, also activate the Favorites quick selection.
Image 3. Results in the grid view. A location and a specific time is defined in the search filters. Meeting is selected as a quick selection. - If you're using the grid view, proceed to book a suitable space by clicking Book. You can also click on the space first to see more details. If you're using the floor plan, you can browse the results on different floor plans by selecting the floor plan from the top left corner, and when you find a suitable space, click on the space/workspace and then Book.
- Now, the space or other resource you want to book is selected, and you can proceed to confirm the booking and order catering if needed. If you need instructions on confirming the booking, read the guide: Finalizing the booking
Need a room or desk now? Make an instant booking using the quick actions
If you need a space, workspace, or parking spot immediately, it's advisable to check the real-time booking status from the Grid or Floor plan and then make a quick booking to an available resource using Quick actions.
In the Grid view, you'll see a colored line above the image of the space in the top left corner indicating the space's reservation status at the moment. A green line means the space is available, and a red one means it's booked. On the floor plan (Now), you'll see the reservation status of spaces similarly, with red indicating booked and green indicating available.

Make a booking from the floor plan
You can book a resource from the floor plan either as an instant booking or by using search filters, but you can also utilize the tips provided in this guide.
You can open the floor plan by selecting Floor plan from the Browse page view. If your reservation environment has multiple floor plans, you can change the floor plan from the drop-down menu near the top left corner. When you click on a resource on the map, you'll see additional information and booking options.
Image 5. Floor plan real-time view.
Real-time reservation status
When you open the floor plan and haven't selected a time in the search filters, you'll see the real-time reservation status. In this case, above the floor plan, it will say Now. A green resource is available, a red one is booked, and yellow indicates that a change in reservation status is imminent.
Upcoming reservation status
You can also view the upcoming reservation status from the floor plan. When you click on the Today button next to the Now button or scroll through the days using the arrow keys, the meaning of the colors displayed on the floor plan changes. Red means the resource is booked for the entire day, yellow indicates that there are some reservations, and green means that there are no reservations for that day. This feature is useful, for example, if you want to find a resource available for the whole day.
Start booking from the floor plan
- Go to the Browse page and select Floor plan as the view. Clear the search filters if necessary.
- Select the day for which you want to make the booking. You can choose a specific day either in the search filters or by selecting the day from the top right of the floor plan using the arrow keys.
- When you're on the desired day, green spaces indicate available spaces with no reservations, and yellow spaces indicate spaces with some reservations. Red indicates that the space is booked for the entire day. Click on a yellow or green resource on the floor plan.
- You'll now see more details about the resource and the timeline for that day.
- Make a booking from the timeline by selecting the desired time with your mouse and then clicking Book. If you need instructions on confirming the booking, read the guide: Finalizing the booking
Make a booking from the timeline
You can find the timeline by selecting it as the view from the Browse page. The timeline works best for browsing purposes when the search filters indicate Any day and Any time. You can then view the timeline in daily, weekly, or monthly views and switch the time frame using arrow buttons.
You can filter the resources on the timeline using quick selections (e.g., Favorites, Meetings, Desks) or by selecting a specific location in the search filters.
Make a booking by selecting a time frame by dragging your mouse pointer. For full-day bookings or multiple days, it's easiest to use the weekly or monthly view. You can also click on your own booking to edit it.
If you're looking for space for a specific day, select the day in the search filters to see only the timeline for that day, and use the buttons above the timeline to switch the day.

Make a booking from the resource calendar
The resource-specific calendar displays the reservation calendar for an individual space in either a daily or weekly view. Unlike the timeline, the time is shown on the vertical axis and the date on the horizontal axis. The resource whose reservation calendar is displayed is selected from the drop-down menu in the top left corner of the calendar.
You can filter the resources in the drop-down menu using quick selections (e.g., Favorites, Meetings, Desks) or by selecting a specific location in the search filters.
You can make bookings in the calendar by selecting the desired time frame with your mouse. You can also click on your own booking to edit it.
The calendar always opens automatically to full screen. You can return to the top of the Browse page by scrolling up.
